Kathrein, Scala Division, a world leader in antenna technology,
seeks an experienced, action-oriented professional to lead our innovative
engineering team in the design and development of new and advanced
antenna designs for wireless applications and the ongoing improvements
and modification of existing antenna products.
Primary Responsibilities:
You will take a hands-on approach in working on all aspects of
antenna development, from assessing initial customer needs by interfacing
with marketing to assisting production in the manufacturing of antennas,
including participation in vendor selection.
Extensive experience in electrical design of commercial base
station antennas in wireless bands.
Proven ability to take design projects from conception to production.
Strong and stable leadership of a team
Ability to provide technical assistance with product data sheets
and assist with other marketing requirements by interpreting industry
specifications and designing specifications.
Working knowledge of antenna theory, including experience with
NEC, HFSS and/or other modeling software.
Ability to manage antenna design projects to ensure that performance,
cost, and schedules are met.
Experience with RF testing.
Well-developed communications skills and ability to clearly
present designs, issues, proposals, and solutions.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
Mechanical design experience.
